In Næstved City there is a very interesting museum, and the churches Sct. Peders and Sct. Mortens are exciting to visit.

Around Næstved are many lovely forests and the manors Gavnø, Gisselfeld, Villa Gallina and Herlufsholm are worth a visit. At Herlufsholm there is both a famous boarding school and Herlufsholm Church, where Birgitte Gøie and Herluf Trolle are buried.

In the summer you can sail with Freedom from Næstved Harbor to Karrebæksminde beach and return.
